MONDAY JULY 13TH:

5:00 P.M. Musicians arrive in Manistique and meet host families at Marina

7:30 P.M. Chamber Concerts Begin:
*Medicare, sponsored by Manistique Area Kiwanis
*Mike Powers (residential mini concert)
*Public Concert at Central Park Bandshell
Sponsored by Manistique Rotary and Manistique Lions Club.
*Indian Lake Golf Club, sponsored by State Savings Bank of Manistique

TUESDAY JULY 14TH

12:00 Chamber Concert (available, call City Hall to arrange yours)

12:00 Point Counterpoint II arrives at Manistique Marina

2:00-4:00 P.M. Orchestra rehearsal on vessel (the public is welcome)

4:30 P.M. Musicians return to host families

5:00 and 7:30 P.M.:
Patrons Concert will be held on board Point Counterpoint II, this is the community's chance to thank patrons with an intimate concert and tour of the vessel's art galleries, topped off with an wine & cheese reception. (note 15 tickets left for 5:00 P.M. Patrons Concert at press time, call the city at 341-2290 to purchase.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 15TH

9:00-12:00 Orchestra rehearsal on vessel (the public is welcome)

2:00 P.M. Musicians return to host families

7:00 P.M. Musicians return to vessel

7:30 P.M. MAIN WATERFRONT CONCERT
Main Waterfront Concert: 7/15/09 at 7:30 P.M. Free to all! Families, friends and neighbors from the entire area gather at the Manistique Marina for the gala celebration as the vessel's hydraulic roof rises, the music begins, and an unforgettable evening ensues. Families are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs, venders will be on hand to serve food and beverages. Some seating will be available, however 300 reserved seats will be sectioned off for those who choose to donate $25.00 to help us cover costs. Contact the City (341-2290) for tickets, some tickets will be available at the front gate. Public Transit will be hand for those that require transportation, normal fees would apply. Those that require transportation to the Main Water Front Concert are asked to call 341-2111 to make arrangements as soon as possible, transportation arrangements should be made by July 14th, 2009. Those that require special accommodations are asked to inform the Public Transit Authority to insure the appropriate bus is used.

12:00 Chamber Concert-Kewadin Casino Team Spirits Bar,
Sponsored by Kewadin Casino's of Manistique

1:00-3:00 P.M. Mentor Program, AWSO Musicians mentor area youth at Manistique Marina

6:00 P.M. Free AWSO Concert to all, this concert is designed for our local music talent to join the AWSO musicians. Area youth are encouraged to participate!

T.B.A. Get together and Bonfire at Janet Hickey's residence on Indian Lake for AWSO Musicians, and all that would like to attend.
